About Isopropanol
The standard alcohol for 70% disinfectant wipes and for precipitating DNA and RNA, where it is preferred over ethanol because less volume is needed. Its lower polarity and slower evaporation than methanol make it a common wipe solvent for electronics and optical surfaces.
